The Men of Color Student Leadership Institute partners with today’s leaders to inspire, motivate, and encourage future leaders to achieve excellence and grow professionally.
The 2022 Men of Color Student Leadership Institute will connect participants (students and advisors) to some dynamic speakers, as well as provide an opportunity for participants to engage in a variety of workshops, group discussions, forums, and social events.
An application is required for all participants. Leaders from participating colleges will review their students’ applications and select the students to attend the MOCSLI. Applications can be accessed here.
The Men of Color Student Leadership Institute (MOCSLI) is the personification of a dream come true to identify, engage, and promote the leadership development of males in traditionally underrepresented communities. Community colleges are well suited to provide the launch pad for many of these men and help them to fulfill their goals and find their rightful place of leadership in their communities, regions, and the world.
During the Institute, you will have the opportunity to interact with professionals of color from across the spectrum, learn and get involved in corporate internships and learn about the best and next practices for success, and develop lasting mentorships and friendships that will undergird your professional and personal journeys.
